Maryland Congress of Parents and Teachers, 1953-1980 and undated

This series consists of files chronicling annual conventions and conferences, bylaws, minutes, committee files, clippings, and correspondence produced and accumulated by the Maryland Congress of Parents and Teachers (MCPT). The Maryland Congress of Parents and Teachers operates as the state branch of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers. It is entrusted with promoting the welfare of youth at home, at school, and in the community. The bulk of the series consists of minutes of the Board of Managers and the Executive Committee of the MCPT from 1965 to 1974. Arrangement is alphabetical by folder heading and chronological within each folder.
