Personal, 1923-2000 and undated

This series contains materials related to Murtagh's personal life as well as materials that span his entire career in historic preservation. Included in this series are copies of Murtagh's resumes from 1959 to 1992; newspapers articles and other clippings about Murtagh; documents related to real estate property; family history materials; and official documents such as birth certificates. Also found in this series is a number of contact lists including photocopies of Murtagh's rolodex. Of particular note is a transcript of an oral history interview conducted with Murtagh in 1986. Researchers should consult the Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections at the Cornell University Library where the original recording is held, for specific restrictions on the use of this transcript. Arrangement is alphabetical.
