Conferences and Workshops, 1957-2003 and undated

Series VII contains programs, papers and proceedings, correspondence, and promotional materials from conferences and workshops that Murtagh attended. The bulk of the material relates to conferences and workshops sponsored by either the National Trust for Historic Preservation or the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). Murtagh participated in many of the conferences as a speaker or as an organizing committee member. Many speeches and lectures given at conferences may be found in this series under the appropriate conference listing. Speeches and lectures with no other conference documentation may be found in Series VI: Speeches and Lectures. Arrangement is alphabetical by the organization or conference title, with the exception of a folder of miscellaneous material which is located at the end of the series. Audio tapes were removed and placed in Series XIII: Audiovisual Materials.
