Projects, 1968-2000 and undated
This series consists of correspondence, reference materials, reports, and proposals relating to Murtagh's post-retirement work on a number of grants as well as his work as a consultant to preservation organizations around the country. Significant projects found in this series include a contract with the Getty Conservation Institute to perform preliminary research on U. S. inventories of historic sites and buildings; a program organized by the United States Information Agency to explore the possibility of international assistance for Indonesia in the protection of their cultural heritage; a joint project with the National Park Service and the University of Hawaii to evaluate historic preservation training in Micronesia; and a number of television documentaries. Arrangement is alphabetical by organization with the exception of a folder of miscellaneous material that is located at the end of the series.
