The series contains records related to Richard Moe's role as administrative assistant to Senator Walter Mondale and subsequently as chief of staff for Vice President Mondale during the Carter Administration. Included in this series are correspondence, news clippings, memos, and oral histories. There are also records related to the Carter presidential campaigns of 1976 and 1980, the Mondale presidential campaign of 1984 and the Clinton presidential campaign of 1992. Arrangement is by campaign or administrative position, which reflects a roughly chronological order. Within each of these groups, arrangement is alphabetical by subject. Material that spans positions is found at the end of the series.
