Davis Polk & Wardwell, 1980-2000 and undated

This series consists almost entirely of correspondence dating from Richard Moe's tenure at the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell. Much of the correspondence is personal or documents Moe's continued involvement in politics.

The arrangement of this series reflects the original filing system in Moe's office. There are three groupings. In the first, files from approximately 1981 to 1986 are arranged chronologically. In the second, files from approximately 1990 to 1992 are divided into alphabetical groupings by the correspondent's last name. Arrangement within the alphabetical groups is chronological. A third grouping, "General", contains documents that are not correspondence and is arranged chronologically.
