Series III consists of correspondence grouped together by topic. Also included are files consisting of comments on some of Dr. Brush's more famous papers, such as "The Chimerical Cat" and "Should the History of Science Be Rated 'X' ?" Significant topics covered include Dr. Brush's research on the origin of the solar system and the moon, as well as correspondence with Elizabeth Garber and C.W.F. Everitt on the publication of James Clerk Maxwell's papers. Photographs have been moved to Series VII, and are identified in this series by separation sheets.

A large circuit diagram used by Dr. Brush's Random Number Society has been moved to the Oversize Materials folder, and is also identified by a separation sheet.

Arrangement is alphabetical by topic.
