Administrative Files, 1903-2004 and undated
Series 1 consists of an array of administrative files that were crucial to the establishment and continued growth of Local 132. The documents in this series pertain to the day-to-day concerns of Local 132 and its connection to the national union as well as union-affiliated organizations in the region. Important figures in this series are the presidents of the national union, such as first president Gabriel Edmonston, and the presidents of Local 132, such as Anthony Gianquanta.

Arrangement
The documents in this series are divided into four subseries: Minutes, Correspondence, General Administrative Files, and Financial Records. However, these subseries can contain overlapping information and file types. With the implementation of a new filing system in 1998, files that were previously organized by subject were placed together and filed chronologically. Thus, minutes, correspondence and financial files can be found in the General Administrative subseries. Moreover, the correspondence subseries includes some financial information.
