Subject Postcards, 1893-1970
This series consists of postcards for which a location could not be assigned. Novelty cards, which in this series consist primarily of greeting cards for a variety of holidays, comprise a significant portion of this series. Other cards of interest include military scenes from World War I, images of Native Americans, and maritime images. The cards are arranged alphabetically by subject. The approximate number of cards for each entry is indicated as follows: if there is no number next to a place name, fewer than 5 cards are held. Otherwise, the estimated number of cards is indicated (ex. Bridges and rivers 15-20 items).
