Peter Piper's Practical Principles of Plain and Perfect Pronunciation. Brooklyn: Mergenthaler Linotype Co. 1936. This book was the 54th keepsake for the AIGA members. Conceived by Paul A. Bennett of the Mergenthaler Linotype Company, this book includes the product of the talents of 41 designers, illustrators, typographers, and printers. Three AIGA medalists are represented: Dwiggins, Bruce Rogers, and Carl Purington Rollins. There is a section for each letter of the alphabet, and Dwiggins contributed the "D" section called Davy Dolldrum. Most designs are in black and red. -- Agner No. 36.09, 1936
