New York City Hall, 1950-2007
The City Hall series contains materials pertaining to the history of New York's City Hall and includes files on architects Joseph Mangin and John McComb, Jr., on the statues and fence around the building, and on the neighborhood and adjacent structures. Gayle's notes indicate that she intended to write a book about City Hall but did not have enough support to publish it. This series includes research notes and correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, slides, and a stereocard.
