This series contains issues of the Hammond Gazette, a newspaper published at Point Lookout for the benefit of the sick and wounded at Hammond General Hospital. It was published weekly and contained poetry, news from the war and other current events, local news, and lists of offices and patients in the hospital. There are 22 issues from its first volume, arranged in numerical order.
