Reports, publications, constitutions, bylaws, programs, convention proceedings, correspondence, minutes, organizational histories, membership lists, and other miscellaneous records documenting the activities of various civic and social organizations. Included are agricultural societies, benevolent and sporting associations, temperance groups, medical and dental associations, groups for descendants of war veterans and for the preservation of Marylanders' German heritage, political clubs, and literary societies. Examples of groups represented are the: Maryland State Horticultural Society, Maryland State Fireman's Association, Young Men's Christian Association, Freemasons, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Germania Club, Independent Order of Oddfellows, Medical Society of Harford County, Union Temperance Society, Engineers Club, Farmers League of Maryland, and the Baltimore County Club.
