This series contains materials created or collected by the Carpenters' Union for their reference and use. Topics include Carpenters history, information about organizing activities, disasters, International Association of Professional Divers' and Pile Drivers, Bridge, Dock and Wharf Builders union documents, and writings of union officials, including Frank Duffy. Also included are correspondence related to various union referendums, including about a decrease in pensions in the 1970s. Folders are arranged alphabetically and then chronologically.
