Subject Files, 1884-2011

Many of these files document the construction of the UBJCA's headquarters in Indianapolis in the early 20th century and Washington, DC in the late 1950s to the early 1960s. This subseries also includes correspondence concerning disputes at missile construction sites over which types of work carpenters were allowed to perform. Also included are bound volumes showing the location and number of members of local unions. This subseries is split into Indianapolis Building, Washington Building, and then General Files, each of which is arranged alphabetically.
