Merged Unions, 1965-1997
"Merged union" refers to local unions which were transferred after their international union affiliated with the UBCJA. Examples of merged unions are the Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers' International Union, Pulp and Paper Workers, and the Tile, Marble, and Terrazzo Finishers. Similar materials for different local chapters of some of the unions represented in this subseries are found in subseries 4.3: Local Unions. It is unclear why these materials were not filed together, but the division has been retained in order to preserve the files' original order.
This subseries is divided into Pulp & Paper Workers, Tile, Marble and Terrazzo Finishers, and Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers' International Union, within each category folders are arranged by local union number.
