Visual Materials, 1960-1990

This series contains black and white and color photographs of conferences, speakers, exhibits, and workshops; some of the photographs were considered for or were published in the Crab. Also included is one ERIC microfiche entitled, "Basic Components of a Public Library Collection Development Policy," Maryland Library Association, Baltimore, 1983, as well as a slide presentation, consisting of one hundred thirty-eight slides, on the organization and... operation of the MLA; the audio-cassette recording of this presentation appears in Series XI. Crab prints for advertising can be found among the undated photograph arrangement entitled "Crab Prints and Photographs" in Box 2. The materials are filed according to format with photographs preceding slides. The photographs remain in the groups in which they were donated and accessioned, and are typically labeled by event/ purpose and date. The arrangement of groups of photographs is chronological according to the dates provided, and original order is maintained within each group.
