Washington, D.C., as the capital of the United States and the headquarters of the Philippines government in exile during World War II, saw many visits from Filipino politicians and other prominent people. This series consists of press release photographs of prominent Filipino politicians and other important Filipinos in the United States.

These materials were donated to the University of Maryland Libraries by Teresa Carandang and Erwin Tiongson on April 30, 2016.

The "Queen and Her Consort" oversize photo was donated to the Unviersity of Maryland Libraries by Amy Solis on September 1, 2017.
