Includes formal (group) and informal (e.g., meetings, excursions, receptions, etc.) images of AFL and AFL-CIO Executive Council (EC) meetings generally held annually in February, but also scheduled in every month except March and December. Interspersed with EC meetings are images of General Board Meetings (September, October) and Unity House meetings (June, August). Only one folder documents CIO Executive Committee and CIO Executive Board meetings.... One folder of images and text, apparently removed from a scrapbook, documents the 1955 AFL, CIO Unity Committee meeting. The bulk of the oversized images cover Samuel Gompers' presidency, particularly 1900 to 1924, and include only a few CIO Executive Committee images.
