Media, 1958-1997

This series consists primarily of media coverage of Lane Kirkland from 1958 to 1997. To a lesser extent, it also includes coverage of the AFL-CIO, specific unions, labor leaders, labor issues, and Irena Kirkland. Clippings from a variety of domestic and international newspapers and magazines constitute the bulk of this series. Radio, television, and newspaper interviews of Kirkland constitute the remainder of this series. Material types include newspapers, magazines, newsletters, news clippings, wire service bulletins, transcripts, and correspondence.
