Political Correspondence, 1926-1933
Series 4 includes correspondence between Green and officers of state federations of labor or local bodies pertaining to the election of members of Congress, and the voting records of candidates, etc. The material spans the years 1926 to 1933, falling mainly between 1930 and 1932. Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Vermont and Virginia are not included in the series. There are seven folders of correspondence pertaining specifically to candidates seeking election to the 72nd Congress and their stands on injunction legislation, and the presidential election of 1932.
