Memoranda, 1934-1952

Memoranda includes eight file folders of carbon copy memos about AFL organizers dropped and added to the federation payroll, 1934-1952. There are two folders of memos of correspondence referred to the AFL's legal counsel, Woll, Glenn & Thatcher. These memos are short summaries of letters from state federations or from organizers regarding legal matters, 1947-1949. One folder consists of correspondence referred to Joseph Keenan in his capacity as associate director of Labor's League for Political Education. These, too, are short summaries of letters, spanning 1948 to 1950.
