It also contains Smith's correspondence, drafts of speeches, articles and manuscripts that he wrote, and subject files. Topics include: Adirondack Park Agency; Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) Canal; Citizens Permanent Conference; Law of the Sea; Potomac River Project; and NPCA.
