Summary Reports, 1963-1981, bulk: 1966-1976

 Series 3

Essentially, these reports summarize the Civil Rights Department's activities in bringing about compliance in the cases. They consist primarily of memos from William Pollard to Don Slaiman (up through 1973) and memos to the Civil Rights Committee (1974 and after), but there is also a similar 1963 memo from Walter Davis to Boris Shishkin. While providing little information on individual cases, these materials show the department's interaction with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), provide statistics on the number of open and closed cases, and list cases that the department recommended for closing.
