Cash Books, 1889-1925

This series consists of 29 cash books volumes which recorded entries for money received and expended on a daily basis. Receipts are for such items as copies of the American Federationist and Proceedings of the American Federation of Labor and are entered both individually and organizationally (by national and international unions, and state and local central bodies). Expenditures take the form of organizing expenses, salaries, rent, printing costs, as well as other expenses.
