Government Departments Correspondence, 1952-1960
Series 2 consists of correspondence exchanged by Meany's office and the representatives of various U.S. government departments, agencies and related committees. The correspondence is generally routine, such as letters notifying Meany of meetings, but a significant portion of corrrespondence pertains to recommendations for the appointments to government advisory or staff positions.
