Organizers' Correspondence, 1952-1980

 Series 10

This series comprises correspondence between various AFL and AFL-CIO organizers and the Office of the President dating from 1952 to 1980. At the beginning of the series are a few folders of administrative records created during the years surrounding the merger and probably reflect some of the reorganization that occurred at that time. Following the administrative files, the series consists of files for individual organizers. Although the correspondence in these files is predominantly routine, substantive correspondence regarding organizing campaigns and local union services appears frequently.
