Public Statements, 1961-2000
This series is comprised of speeches in various forms (notes, outlines, rough drafts, edited drafts, and final versions), interviews, testimony, statements, and articles of three directors of the Civil Rights Department: Donald Slaiman, William Pollard, and Richard Womack. It contains printed, near print, and manuscript material (notes, speeches, articles, and transcripts). Speeches may be duplicated in other series and there may be speeches elsewhere that are not duplicated in this series.

Processing Information
Obvious duplicates were discarded and rusting paperclips and rubber bands were replaced with plastic clips or staples.
