This series consists of files containing memos to Ben Bradlee, executive editor, and Howard Simons, managing editor, from Charles Seib regarding his duties as ombudsman with the Washington Post. These memos critique various articles Seib read in response to reader complaints or errors found. These materials document the ombudsman program at the Post for the period 1974 to 1979. The files are arranged chronologically.
