Proposals, Reports, and Administrative Files, 1963-1981 and undated

This subseries includes a set of proposals and progress reports arranged chronologically by originating office.

The administrative files include the files of CTW President Joan Ganz Cooney, Vice President for Production David Connell, Vice President for Research Ed Palmer, Vice President for Finance and Administration Thomas Kennedy, Director of Content Development Ruby Hearn, Director of Research James Swinehart, Director of Domestic and International Production Norton Wright, Production Supervisor Robert Braithwaite and Coates Redmon.

Cooney's files relate to all aspects of the show, particularly financial, legal and promotional concerns. Connell's files include a set of memos and correspondence. Kennedy's files include proposals, reports, one script, press releases, and information on community outreach and international productions of Feeling Good. Hearn's files focus on the development stage of the program, and include extensive lists of contacts, notes on seminars and task force meetings, book orders and research into format and content, as well as progress reports and some information on personnel and promotion. Swinehart's files include information on promotion and outreach. Wright's files are concerned with international productions of the series. Braithwaite's files deal with staff, funding and budgets. Redmon's files deal with the program's goals and content and include draft scripts and information on promotional materials.
