Poster's artwork features an image of president Abraham Lincoln. Beside the portrait of Lincoln is an image of an African-American family, one of whom is a union soldier. The caption included with the poster talks about the Emancipation Proclamation and a quote from Lincoln, "labor is the superior of capital and deserves much higher consideration."
