Correspondence: Facsimiles and Transcriptions, 1864, 1883, and undated

This sub-series consists of facsimiles and transcriptions of letters by the marquis de Lafayette, his wife, other Lafayette family members, and two Lafayette family tutors, Gérard and Morizot. Each entry states whether the item is a facsimile or a transcription. There is additional transcribed correspondence in Series III. The letters are arranged alphabetically by last, then first name of correspondent, and then chronologically by the date of the correspondence for which there is a facsimile or transcription.
