Correspondence, 1969-2004
Series II consists of general correspondence files kept by Shneiderman; there is some overlap with materials in the chronological files. These documents contain extensive exchanges between Shneiderman and other contemporaries on topics relating to human-computer interaction.
Included in this series are holiday greetings; correspondence on human-computer interaction; consulting relationships with various software corporations; speaking engagements with companies and educational institutions; requests for copies of publications; reviews of other people's articles and research; and personal impressions of trips, visits, and other experiences. Correspondents include Charles Kreitzberg, Anthony Ralston, Kent Norman, Gary Marchionini, and Catherine Plaisant.
Arrangement is chronological.
