The Radio Letters, circa 1970

The Radio Letters features Lorenzo Milam reading from letters sent to WEAF (New York) and other Bell Telephone stations when they were conducting experiments in the transmission of music and talk in the early 1920s. The readings are accompanied by music from Folkways Phono Cylinders, volumes 1 and 2. The program is from 'The WEAF Experiment' by Banning. The sound quality of this recording is poor, circa 1970.
