Spectrum, 1972

Spectrum, produced by Carlos Hagen, presents an experiment in listening regarding moods and emotions of individuals in May 1972 in the light of protests and unrest on college campuses and de escalation of the war in Vietnam, as well as college classes and lectures based around the conflict in Vietnam. The program includes excerpts of a lecture on pride and revenge in regard to the Nixon administration and Vietnam conflict by psychologist Carl Faber, as well as clips of music and news broadcasts, circa 1972.
