Publications, 1882-1980 and undated
This series contains publications created by the newspaper other than the subscription newsprint. These ad hoc publications relate to advertising and publicity, such as sport schedules and educational resources which use the Baltimore News-Post and the News American as classroom aides. In addition, the series houses documents from the Fashion Congress of America, the Freedom Train, and a miniature newspaper from 1882. The series also contains article complications, which are newspaper articles and essays that were later compiled and published in pamphlet form (spanning multiple newspaper titles). In addition, this series contains publications written by William Randolph Hearst, Sr., and William Randolph Hearst, Jr. Arrangement of the series is alphabetical by newspaper title and then by subject. Folders labeled General are listed first and then the rest of the folders on the same level follow alphabetically. Material that could not be associated with a specific newspaper or spanned several title changes is listed at the end of the series in alphabetical order.
