Printing Industry Topics, 1924-1979 and undated
This series includes all subject files directly related to Annenberg's business as well as to the wider printing industry. These subject files contain notes, research, correspondence, annual reports, articles, speeches, and brochures. Annenberg kept files on printing operations such as proofing, stripping, color printing, new equipment, and lithography; business operations such as advertising, sales, and public relations; and subjects like printing history and oddities, billing, samples of Maran's work, and depositions from a lawsuit.
This series also includes subject files related to the printing industry as a whole, issues that affect all printing operations and not solely Maran Printing Services. Examples include state and national issues such as sales tax, direct marketing, education, payola (kickbacks), and trade discounts. The folders are arranged alphabetically by subject.
