Clippings, 1978-1989

This series contains clippings and photocopies of clippings from newspapers and periodicals. The bulk of this series consists of book reviews of Djuna. The remainder of the clippings include obituaries of Djuna Barnes and of Henry Budington, Djuna Barnes's grandfather, and articles about the Black Cat bar in San Francisco. The series is arranged alphabetically by subject. Book reviews are filed alphabetically by their language of publication under the heading "Reviews of Djuna: The Formidable Miss Barnes." Within language files, the reviews are arranged chronologically.
