The Cuba Company Powers of Attorney, one volume, details the granting and revoking of powers of attorney to individuals who perform various functions and purchases for the company. Lists dates of appointment, purpose, and when revoked; Four ledger books contain accounts of various financial activities, taxes, insurance, plantation expenses, general and administrative expenses., 1902-1942 and 1917-1929

This collection is open to the public and must be used in the Special Collections reading room. Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws before using this collection.

Special handling is required for folded oversized blueprints throughout collection. Many files and documents are brittle, fragile, and dirty. There are also many folded oversize blueprints throughout the boxes, in addition to those removed and housed in map cases.

The majority of the records are dated over 75 years ago and are therefore not restricted for content or personal information that is present. Please contact the Collection Curator for more information.
