Writings, bulk: 1987-1993, 1972-2001

Series 3: Writings contains McCullough's drafts of an unfinished book on Djuna Barnes that McCullough developed with scholar Mary Lynn Broe, as well as several short recollections of her encounters with Barnes. McCullough's research materials for the book are in Series 4.1: Research on Djuna Barnes and Her Circle.

This series also contains proposals and contracts related to the Barnes book and McCullough’s cookbook writing in the early 1990s. Materials are arranged by project, then date.
