Prints, 1616-1984 and undated
This series consists of engravings, etchings, lithographs, posters, and other types of printed materials of people and places from around the state of Maryland. Common themes include views of Baltimore and of various locations outside the city and elsewhere such as the Washington Monument, Ellicott Mills, and Fort McHenry. Portraits of well-known Marylanders and Americans include Edgar A. Poe, Charles Carroll, Cecil Calvert, Benjamin Franklin and Patrick Henry. Materials are arranged alphabetically by geographic location and then chronologically. Portraits are arranged alphabetically by subject.
