Correspondence to Cornelius Comegys, 1816-1824
This series consists of correspondence to Cornelius Comegys from four of his connections in Baltimore, MD: his "nephew" Bartus Comegys; his business partner, John Pershouse; Philip E. Thomas, a liaison between Cornelius’ and Bartus’ business transactions;and his agent/employee, William McClure. There is some connection and overlap in subject matter between them, so the chronological date order of the correspondence has been retained; the correspondents’ letters are interspersed.
