Financial and Business Records, 1959-1989
This subseries consists of materials either relating to one of Mr. Agnew's corporations (Pathlite, STACOM, Education for Democracy), or the personal finances of the former vice president and his wife, Elinor I. (Judy) Agnew. Included are tax documents, bank statements, business correspondence, Telex, bills and invoices, insurance policies, office calendars, and check stubs. Of special interest are the range of Pathlite – Travel Expenses folders, which document the trips that Agnew took to meet with his foreign investors. Also in this subseries is a large amount of photocopied evidence from Agnew's 1973 trial for tax fraud. All folders are arranged alphabetically and then chronologically.
