Memberships, 1899-1976, bulk: 1914-1969

This series documents Elmo Pickerill's memberships and interactions with radio and aeronautical societies, incluidng correspondence, membership certificates, and photographs, 1899-1976. Correspondence dated after 1968 refers to inquiries about Pickerill's biography directed to the manager of Pickerill's estate. Of note is his extensive correspondence with Lee DeForest and membership in the DeForest Pioneers, as well as his leadership of the Early Birds of Aviation. Three membership certificates are housed separately in an oversize box.
