Photographs, 1962-2001, and undated
This series consists of photographs from 1962 to 2001 of meetings and conferences with African officials and the African American Labor Center's (AALC) visits to African countries, as well as group photos of AALC staff. The African Women's Conference, and a conference in Geneva are included. People and places in Africa include Tanzania, Nairobi, and Kenya. Some of the photographs are of Trachtman's family and friends. Many of the photographs are undated. This series also contains three postcards collected by the Trachtman.

Processing Information
The majority of the photographs were kept in the original order - grouped by prints from rolls of film, and placed in acid-free envelopes. Notes about the topics were transcribed from the original roll's envelope. Photographs are arranged by subject and then chronological order.
