Subject Files, 1959-1996
This series consists of academic articles (some unpublished) and presentations, as well as a few publications from the U.S. Department of Labor, created between 1959 and 1996, on topics relating to African American Labor movements. The authors are mostly topical experts in labor, though there are also government publications and state reports, as well as prepared bibliographies or reading lists. Topics focus on labor movements and rights in Africa (particularly concerning unionism, aging workers, and women), Judaism in labor, African statehood development, and labor unionism theory.
