Print and photographic material, 1963-1999
This series documents the programming activities of Maryland Public Television (MPT) throughout the state of Maryland from 1963 to 1999. Materials include administrative files, program scripts and research, photographs, program guides and listings, schedules, instructional technology surveys, magazine inserts, correspondence, and joint programming with the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). Selected programs include Crabs, Madeline Cooks, Farm Day, Working Woman, Symphony Hall, Center Stage, and Wall Street Week.
Photographs include set photographs as well as individuals employed by MPT such as Louis Rukeyser (Wall Street Week) and people featured on MPT such as figure skater Katherine Healy. Administrative files include grants, budgets, and market research reports. This series also includes clippings mentioning MPT program activities.
