Related Organizations and Agencies, 1962-1987 and undated

Series 7 contains files produced by or relating to organizations and government agencies that were involved with fair housing and related issues during the period of SMFH’s existence. These files include of newsletters, memoranda, correspondence, reports news clippings, etc. of organizations such as the Regional Fair Housing Consortium; the National low Income Housing Coalition; Metropolitan Washington Planning and Housing Association; and Coalition for Excellence; and the Equality in Education in Montgomery County. Series 7 also contains files produced by or relating to government agencies that were involved with fair housing and/or related issues. These files include newsletters, memoranda, correspondence, reports, news clippings, etc. of government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development; the Montgomery County Human Rights Commission (HRC); and the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC).
