The U.S. imprint is the first edition, since the U.K. edition did not appear until the Spring of 1891. The book includes a Walter Crane cartoon, "Labour's May-Day," was used as the Frontispiece and is bound in dark red cloth with gray lettering on the front cover and a gold stamped terrestrial hemisphere with the legend "Solidarity of Labour."
