This series contains printed materials that document the origins of the motto "I'd Rather Be Studying," including press clippings and local publicity materials; 3 booklets by John Pease entitled "I’d Rather Be Studying and Other Campus Stories," "Everything I Know I Owe to Women and Other Campus Stories," and "The Joy of Teaching and Other Campus Stories;" Sara Bellum's examination book, and Sara Bellum's unofficial undergraduate transcript. It also contains materials realted to the purchase of a brick in Sara Bellum's name from the Maryland Alumni Association.
